Engagement party... turned wedding - congratulations Beth & Sam! When Jess & Ray asked me to capture their wedding, I was thrilled - but especially so knowing I would get to adventure down to @tamborinemountainglades  (previously Cedar Creek Lodges) in the Gold Coast Hinterland with them! Introducing the newlywed Mr. & Mrs. Olive! Knowing Kate as far back as primary school, it was a privilege to capture her marriage to Alex. They left no detail unthought of - including a painter for their ceremony, carriage rides for their guests throughout the afternoon and the sweetest little outfit for one of their pups, Isabella. I photographed Bec & Jamie's wedding 10 years ago (um, when did that happen?!) and it is an honour to still be able to capture them now as a family of four. So, here's the Small family - I think we inadvertently chose the only calm part of beach in Yeppoon for their photos!

Not only was it formal day for Alyssa & Sam, but it was also Sam's 18th birthday! Each of their families booked a separate session with me which we then combined into a larger session to give more flexibility and get creative with locations for their photos. They met at Perisher, got engaged while heliboarding in New Zealand and now married on a tropical island. Tess, a firefighter, and Tristen, a paramedic, managed to craft a wedding celebration that was such a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple. It was a laid back celebration with 40 of their nearest & dearest - and their two beautiful pups as flower girls, of course (but from what we saw they were most excited to go for a swim). In a break of tradition, Tris & Tess crafted a new surname from the letters of each of their last names (and I love this idea!!). So - congratulations to The Dreimers! Lucy's graduation session with Braeden - it's hard to go past classic, elegant styling like these two chose for their formal. I also photographed Lucy's sister Laura 4 years ago and it was lovely to see her family again, along with their beautiful 1966 XR Fairmont! Contact me to book your own formal session!

On a recent trip to Brisbane, all the pieces fell into place and I stopped in to capture some images for @celesteceval 's salon and her son James' formal with Christine. Complete with incredible ocean views and a vintage Mustang, it was an honour to capture these! I'll share more of Celeste's branding images soon as well, but here are some words from her in the meantime: "Thank you so much 💕 You just have a way of making people feel comfortable. I always feel awkward with photos... but somehow you made all the insecurities disappear. Thank you so very much! You are very good at what you do!!! The annual Hooton family photos have come and gone again! I love catching up with families every year to capture these memories. This time, Nathan requested something with the river - so I used a combination of spots around the CBD and finished up at the railway bridge.
