School graduations are a big milestone, and they deserve to be documented as a celebration of this new, exciting chapter.

I offer curated formal photography from $350 to capture the end of the schooling journey, either on formal day or beforehand.

As I only offer a limited number of sessions, I recommend reaching out early to book your date.

Formal sessions

Formal sessions are designed to run smoothly on a busy day. Most graduates opt for a 45 minute session that include family portraits. Many graduates also choose to include their partner, along with their partner’s family, as part of the same session.

Pre-graduation sessions

If you’d prefer a little more flexibility,

pre-graduation sessions are a great option. Held before your formal, often alongside hair and makeup trials, they allow for more location choices, no crowds, and a relaxed experience without the time pressure.

Senior sessions

Senior sessions are all about you and your family. These portrait sessions go beyond formal day, with the option to include meaningful locations or hobbies, creating something personal to reflect who you are at this stage of life.

Formals FAQ

When should I book?

To ensure I can provide the best possible experience to each client, I only take a small number of booking per formal date. Graduation sessions often book 12+ months in advance, and I offer a shortlist if the school hasn't formally announced the date (or I haven't opened bookings yet).

How do graduation sessions work?

Sessions are typically scheduled between 2–5pm (finalised once walkthrough details are released). My most popular packages include a mix of family and graduate portraits - both individual and with your formal partner. Many graduates also choose to include their formal car.

Where will our photos be taken?

On formal days, locations are usually pre-selected close to your school or walkthrough venue to ensure things run smoothly. I choose areas that offer a variety of backdrops, so you still receive a diverse gallery without needing to travel far.

should we book a pre-graduation session instead?

A pre-graduation session lets you enjoy the experience without formal day pressure. It’s ideal for trialling hair and makeup, exploring location options and avoiding crowds, while still capturing special images in your formal outfit.
