Top 10 Wedding Photographer in Australia - Madelyn Holmes Photographics!

I'm so excited to share that I've been named a Top 10 Wedding Photographer in Australia at the Australian Wedding Industry Awards, following my win for the Capricorn Coast and Central Queensland region late last year.

The national awards were announced in Sydney on 7 January, recognising excellence across the Australian wedding industry based on client feedback, professionalism and service standards.

It’s difficult to compare work when no two weddings are the same, so to be acknowledged in this way is incredibly humbling. I'm deeply grateful to the people who have trusted me to document such an important part of their lives.

The recognition coincides with me celebrating 15 years in business (um, how did that happen?!) recently, including more than a decade specialising in weddings.

During that time, I've photographed weddings across Central Queensland and beyond, travelling everywhere from Longreach to Heron Island to capture celebrations for my couples.

The awards also highlighted the depth of talent within Central Queensland’s wedding industry, with 10 other local placegetters and winners on the night - I’m proud to be part of such a strong community of local businesses!

These included Light The Scene Videography, TMF Cake Designs, I Sew Alterations), Little List + Co., St Aubins Village, and The Old Station, Dunlop Catering, Beards and Banter MCs, Leanne Smith Marriage Celebrant and DJ Vee.
