Not quite sure what to pack for your portrait photoshoot? These are my best tips for things to bring to ensure everything goes smoothly on the day!
Extra Outfit options
Bring a few different clothing options for each person/family member in case of disaster or to add some variety. With spare outfit options, you can easily adjust to changes in weather or fix up any unexpected stains.
Comfortable shoes
Opt for shoes that are comfortable for walking and standing, particularly for outdoor shoots (think wedges or dressy flats for the ladies, smart casual shoes for the men) - blisters are never fun!

Hair and makeup touch ups
Bring hair brushes, hair spray, pins and any makeup touch-up products, especially if you will be shooting for a long time.
Emergency pack
It's always a good idea to pack Panadol, bandaids, baby wipes and tissues so you're prepared whatever happens.

Props
Depending on the theme of your photoshoot, bring props such as blankets, toys, or flowers that can be used to add interest to your photos.
Snacks and drinks
If you're shooting for a long time or with young children, bring snacks and drinks to keep everyone happy and energised.
Sunscreen and bug spray
If you're shooting outdoors, be sure to bring sunscreen and bug spray to protect yourself from the elements (particularly after rain or in lush areas).
Enthusiasm
Above all else, bring a positive and relaxed attitude to your photoshoot. If you're comfortable and having fun, your photos will reflect your this!
